Man arrested after dog abandoned during Hurricane Milton
@AnnetteTRemain The owner tried to say he couldn't find anyone to take him before leaving to avoid the storm.
@TheNewsOwl Maybe people recognized the dog so he tried to claim at shelter later to avoid trouble.
@AnnetteTRemain I never get ppl like this. I mean just put him in your dang vehicle with ya. How hard is that?
@TheNewsOwl Yes and it looked like that was highway and not residential so I assume the dog was in a vehicle that got stopped then dog tied to fence.
