@POOetryma @TheNewsOwl Garages were de rigueur back then. Apple, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard and others.
@TheNewsOwl I believe @Graci has it right. Apple, Inc., started in a garage and pioneered some of the ways we now interface with computers, such as windows and a mouse. At the time, personal computers were new and IBM DOS was the gold standard. Today, even the cheapest smartphones are more capable than a PC from 40 years ago.
