When I was 11 my dad went to nursing school and I read his medical textbooks.
That's when I realized I wasn't the only one, and there was no choice about what was coming (Puberty)
If I had someone to talk to then that I felt would have been accepting and affirming, and had some options I might not have taken the drastic steps I did at 13.
@NiveusLepus β€οΈ Reading that breaks my heart. child whom is transgender is here and every day they make me realize how amazing they are and how amazing the community is. Tbh we all could learn a lot just about being more compassionate humans from the lgbtq+ community imo.
