Makes perfect sense for an old, washed-up reality TV star.
He’s lazy. Being Prez is work and he would have to constantly be watching his back for the 25th to be invoked and Theil’s stooge to ascend.
If he loses he can scream rigged, stolen, weaponized until he gasps his last breath and MAGA cult, although diminished and warped into MAGA 2.0, will still buy his schtick and merch to support his ongoing grift.
