@th3j35t3r I feel really bad for them. Clearly they're mentally ill af. They need help and they're never gonna get it.

@Tail @th3j35t3r a bunch of cosmonauts actually tried to help the one for a bit... it didn’t work. J just had to keep bouncing her every time a new account popped up.. Royal pita for him

@Museek @Tail @th3j35t3r

In my experience, people like this have literally nothing else going on in their lives.

Picking fights online is their way of proving to themselves that they actually exist.

@mcfate @Museek If they were just trolling and being a turd I would agree, but their thought process, paranoia and all that, there's more than just a shitty personality under there. Yeah they probably don't have much going for them, but they still have their reasons for behaving the way they do, and the persistence is telling of some major underlying mental issues issues.

@Tail @Museek

Me, I think people should have to take a LICENSING EXAM before they're allowed to use the Internet.

He might be slightly saner if he couldn't wind himself up this way online.

Plenty of people have mental health issues without making egregious nuisances of themselves.

@mcfate @Museek Being a nuisance is one thing, being a threat to themselves is another.

Yeah, they're winding themselves up, and Twitter provides the perfect platform to wind themselves up even further, but if someone gets wound up enough, bad things happen.

They need medication.

@Tail @Museek

I can't write people prescriptions, and I can't force them to take the medication other people prescribe them. I can't keep them off Twaddle.

I can keep off Twaddle, though.

@mcfate @Tail from here, it looks like a classic example of religious psychosis.

It’s not difficult to understand how that could happen, given that people must suspend their belief as to what is possible or not. It’s difficult to reconcile what is real.

I wonder if he’s had that moniker since he started? How long might he have been this delusional?

@Museek @mcfate The religious psychosis is definitely there and clearly ingrained quite deeply, but it's the delusions that are more telling. Calling Jester one of Putin's sleepers etc. It extends beyond just telling people they're going to hell, etc.

Wouldn't surprise me if they were schizophrenic.

@Tail @Museek

Schizophrenic people probably shouldn't be off their meds and on the Internet, and certainly not both at the same time.

@mcfate Indeed, but they'd need to be diagnosed first, which would mean seeking help, which would mean acknowledging that they have a problem, etc..

The shitty part of the internet is that it's free for everyone. I've been off my meds and gone absolutely bonkers on Twitter before, it's scary.

I don't mean THAT kind of bonkers, but I definitely should have had my phone taken away from me.

@Tail

"If this country weren't a total shithole, I'd be FAMOUS!"

He needs help nobody on the Internet can give him, and I sense that he wouldn't accept it if anyone tried to do it in person.

I mean, he's JESUS.

@mcfate The guy's clearly insane. One interesting thing I've noticed from observing the homeless population, many of them have smart phones. They're relatively cheap, and the people hang out at coffee shops and the like and use the WiFi, etc.

I'm sure he's homeless for very good reasons, as he's clearly insane.

I also doubt there's anything stopping him from getting a gun, which is what scares me.

@Tail

Well, he's not going to pass a background check without an address.

@mcfate This is true. I wonder if there's a loophole around that. Like if he's staying at a shelter or something and uses the shelter's address, etc.

I don't know if he has a following on Twitter or not, but crazy attracts crazy. I'd rather him spend his time ventilating and going crazy on Twitter. He's like, the 15th Jesus I've seen though, at least.

@Tail

I'm pretty sure that a homeless shelter isn't going to fly with the ATF, either.

@mcfate I'd certainly hope not and wouldn't think so, but I could also see someone buying THE Jesus Christ a gun if they were also crazy and were asked to.

idk, the guy needs help and he's not gonna get it. People like that make me really nervous and uncomfortable.

@Tail

You seem to spend a lot of time worrying about ever-more-unlikely scenarios none of which you could possibly do anything at all about.

I don't do that.

Follow

@mcfate I'm not worried about it, I'm nowhere near that guy. I'm only meaning that there are thousands of people just like him all over the place and they're a threat to themselves and others around them.

@Tail

According to the FBI, there are 30 or 40 serial killers running around at any given moment.

I don't spend any time dwelling on that, either.

@mcfate I've heard the same, nor do I worry about it. Worrying about something and being aware of it are different things.

@Tail

Okay, but you were "aware of" the possibility, first, of his somehow having enough pennies to rub together to get a gun, and then when I pointed out that homeless people don't pass background checks, you immediately became "aware of" the possibility (?) of his using a homeless shelter as an address.

When I pointed out that as being unlikely, you posited ACCOMPLICES who would purchase a gun on his behalf.

This goes beyond "awareness" if you were to ask me.

@Tail

I mean, the gun itself was purely YOUR invention. He hasn't expressed any sort of an interest in doing any such thing.

Where'd the "awareness" come from?

@mcfate I'm not saying he'll do anything, just that people are capable of lots of things and mentally unstable people are unpredictable. That's it. It's all hypothetical.
