I've always been baffled by billionaires who decide it's better to play the villain rather than the hero.

@Tacitus_Kilgore Give someone power and you'll see who and what they really are.

@Tacitus_Kilgore Since you have to be a pretty selfish and terrible person to become or remain a billionnaire, it doesn't surprise me at all.

@AskTheDevil In my usual mind wanderings before sleep takes me, last night I thought about what I would do if I won 70 million with our Canadian Lotto.

I live in farm and fishing country. I would open a grocery store focusing mainly on local products. I would fund different growers to keep a fresh supply of produce, multiple egg farmers (small ops) to provide fresh eggs, and so on.

@AskTheDevil It wouldn't be a traditional grocery with boxed foods from big suppliers. And the profits would go right back into sustainability.

Ultimately I would want it to be an enterprise that employs local residents and give them a supply of inexpensive, quality food staples. Grow the community, in a sense.
