Kinda seems like an attempt to mislead investigators to me - will be interesting to see how Michigan and Georgia AG's react to this.

@Synical

Kinda seems like lying under oath to the court to me.

Defying a court order and perjuring himself?

How do you imagine they'll react to a defendant doing this?

@mcfate I'm not a lawyer - keeping that in mind, I think in GA it will depend on what he told investigators there during his proffer interviews for the plea deal. If they asked about social media and he covered it up like he apparently did in MI, I would think his plea deal could potentially be invalidated.
Since MI specifically asked about SM accounts, that is probably the immediate concern for his lawyers - I'm half expecting a statement from the MI investigators within a day or two.

@Synical

If you lie to investigators, that's a crime, and will almost certainly kill any idea of a plea deal.

A standard part of a plea deal is that you answer all questions truthfully and admit to any crimes you've committed.
