I've been noticing an increasing incidence of YouTube videos with a clickbait-y thumbnail image that has nothing to actually do with anything in the video itself.
Anyone else noticed this?

@mcfate Yes. I opt out of any sort of "advertising tailored to your interests" (aka, we want your data for all sorts of other reasons) and the other day, YouTube decided to serve up an ad in the middle of a video I was watching, and this ad was from Epoch Times - a pretty well-known anti-LGBTQ+ organization, promoting some new anti-trans video they created.
I. Was. Fuming. I reported both the ad and the little corner ad, but who knows if it does any good. 🤬
