We had a mentally incapacitated traitor, demagogue, liar and thief with his tiny hands on the nuclear button for four years. The media didn’t care about his mental health. I’m so sick of the bullshyt about Secretary Austin’s ailment that the frightwing media echo fog machine is distracting us with.

@GeorgeVotesBlue Yep. It became so much easier for me to understand, when I came to the realization that U.S. media in general aren't out to provide actual news - they're trying to sell advertising. I used to prefer Reuters until they went mostly paywall, and now get most of my news from the BBC, PBS, and occasionally AP. The rest is just more corporate-sponsored gruel aimed at keeping the masses pacified with the status quo.
