I saw yesterday that Season 2 of The Peripheral has been cancelled
Season 1 was some of the best sci-fi TV has done in a long time

@tgraph52 What irked me was the story I saw said they blamed it on the writer's strike.
Um... a delay might be due to the strike. Cancelling an approved season is not the fault of the WGA, it's (IMO) naked greed by the white-collar execs that justify exorbitant salaries based on increased advertising sales to other white-collar individuals. Meanwhile, writers and actors that actually CREATE the content that allows them to sell ads get paid a fraction. ðŸ˜

Ah, nice - I deleted my bird account when the muskrat moved in. While I miss content from Gibson and a few others, don't have any regrets. Here's the article I saw:
@FrankCannon @tgraph52 Yep- much like professional sports, where the journeymen (and journeywomen) that are responsible for much of the teams success are overshadowed by the stars and highlight reels.
