Alright, the protagonist in my new project is dead. Not zombie dead or vampire dead or fantasy world dead. Just plain living in an unexpected afterlife dead. I need book recommendations to see how other writers tackled things like physical sensations of characters w/out bodies and scene settings for people who were just kind of “out there” unconnected to the world. Strange request, yes, but if you know of something sort of like that, I’d love to hear about it!

@bradreed Kelley Armstrong's Haunted does a great job. There's a prologue set in the past - the dead first-person narrator, Eve, comes in around page 10 or 11, I think, at Chapter One.
