@SteveCarll67 - When I stepped out last night, I could hear the tamarack and birch popping in our woods. Low temps and wind do their work on it every winter. I haven't bought a load of wood since we moved here. Happens every year when the thermometer heads way south. Wait until we get a sustained -40 or lower here - that's when the hemlock occasionally let go - sounds like a bomb when they do. (It's actually being blown up by jewish space lasers, but shhhh!)
