I have only seen this color of fur on a dog that was 1/2 coyote

@damselfly59 Our kitten was that color when we recited him. He's since changed to a very dark chocolate brown. Yours is so beautiful

Mine is a muttly (but wonderful of course) tabbyxorangey kitty.

Here's a couple when we rescued him and one a couple months ago. Outside direct light, he looks black but then light makes the fur magic happen
