I've decided I don't like the work patriot as it's been used lately. Especially thinking about the alpha males waving it around like their flag boxers in the US. Maybe matriot would be a better term. #showerthought 💃

@Stace I actually realized I cringe when I see an American flag now. So many words/phrases/symbols ruined by MAGAts
@Alohakim18 same. I took the flag off my house when I lost rights, though. I won't have one up again until I have equal representation and protections in this country. As the primary breadwinner in my family I've paid enough to deserve representation and sure as hell have paid more than the billionaires.
