I've been working through Living World Season 1 in #GuildWars2 solo, and having very few issues.
Until last night when I got to the Tower of Nightmares.

"Complete events or reach the top"
A few of the mobs are regular types but most are Veteran, Epic, or Champion. Tonnes of AoE, CC, DoTs.
Definitely not soloable so I'll have to try working at it on weekends when other people are in the public instance to help out.
@kaehlys yeah it was made for group content and stayed that way. i noticed it to when it first dropped. was hoping it was just cause a lot of folks were doing it but that doesnt seem the case sadly.
@kaehlys yueah kinda sucks they didnt scale some aspects of LWS1 for the solo players and stuff but im just happy newer folks get the ability to play the content finally. do enjoy!
@Silabus I'm less "newer" and more "returning after a very long hiatus" but it's awesome getting to catch up on everything I missed.
@kaehlys oh for sure. i just say newer cause unless you were there 9 years ago you didnt get a chance at it till just last year.
@Silabus I actually was around when LWS1 dropped initially but it happened right when I was getting a little burnt out and I had just cut ties with my guild. I remember logging in to a destroyed LA at one point, having no idea what was going on, and didn't play for a little while after that.
I drifted back in for HoT and PoF.
Started playing again recently because GW2 being on Steam means I can play on Linux. Dusted off my insta-80 necro and have been working through the game.
(ugh, typos)
@kaehlys ahh very nice. played during beta and i think the longest breaks ive taken from the game was a month a few years back. welcome back to tyria for sure though!
@Silabus I just started that chapter last night, so when I get to the pointy end I'll have a look for groups, cheers :)
