I have a life with my family outside of social media, and I have shit to do with that family.
I don't announce everything I do because frankly it's boring to everyone else and also none of your business.
If I leave a thread I'm engaged in it's because I have to do other things, and the Internet is the least important thing to me.

The thing is that earlier today I hesitated to follow but did because I unfortunately care about people.
@Shelter I know what you mean and I'm pretty empathetic myself but that account is just a long string of posts trying to generate sympathy and attention.I frankly very much doubt that they or their stories are genuine.
And yet my expanding yet broken heart cared.
It's a thing.
Thankfully I found out within 6 hours.
@Shelter I'm kind of lucky that after many years of experience in my past jobs I can smell a bad one pretty quickly.
