@LnzyHou @Shelter Just got back home from there last night. Went on one of the several “wild horse tours”. $56 for a two hour tour. Rules:1. do not get within 50 feet. 2. Do not drive on beach unless you have a real 4 wheel drive ( saw one van get stuck).
Did not see horses running on the beach per brochures. We did see several horses (12-15 in total in small groups) one foal in resident’s yards or on the side of roads.
munching away on the scant grass.
It’s Humidity+hot there.

@LnzyHou You are welcome!
@Shelter
Planning a trip to Outer Banks in the fall. Can you advise best places to see the wild horses? And other must-sees?
Coming from Asheville in my van
