Came across this (random) instance of Mastodon & wondered how this well-intentioned block list is any less arbitrary and unfair than CoSo's firewall geo-blocker, which is pretty well standard SOP.
@Stizz - agreed, but that's the really difficult and time-consuming task that no admin could manage. And then depends on arbiters' opinion/judgements, or groups of upset nannys. Which is I 'spose stage 2 protection at CoSo.
Not up to arguing any further, just interesting.
