Driving in northern NJ is challenging.

Turning left at an intersection is not permitted. Circuitous routes to go left come up quickly. One way streets pop up out of nowhere. Marked U turns are confusing & at higher speeds than I would expect.

I try not to use Google Maps which amps up anxiety when I have to circle back through parking lots, alleys, truck routes etc.

But I continue to be in amazed when I see an exit to New York City which is only 1.5 hrs away.

The City beckons.
