yes and they've been heavily trapped (with leg traps ) in US/Canada for their fur ... and sadly I come from a family of trappers ...

@SentinelOfTruth Though.... I'd be happy to still the musk in a cage and let him wallow in his own crap until I cleaned it. I would not do this wish such a sweet creature as an actual muskrat.
