The Supreme Court is threatening to take away over 50% of the U.S. populations Constitutional rights. That's right. 51% of U.S. population are female. Imagine if this SC decided 13th amendment could just be tossed out. Or how about ratifying the 2nd amendment to exclude all weaponry made after 1820? You'd hear some bitching from the Republicunts instead of cheering about stripping women of their Constitutional rights. #SCOTUS #Womensrights
@pagandancer I don't want to take anything away from your comment but I do want to point out that SCOTUS cannot simply disregard constitutional amendments or actual laws. The gigantic problem we have is all of the things that are SCOTUS decisions but were never passed as bills into laws, like Obergefell which legalized gay marriage. It was assumed they would respect their own previous decisions and laws for those things weren't necessary... which imho was incredibly naive.
