@eviloverlady It will limp along but its relevance will decline and most people will drift off to other places. If J can keep up with the capacity demands here, this might be that place.
@ScionAltera believe me, I know how difficult it can be to run a big and busy site. Once upon a time I did that myself.
Mine got so large and busy that I eventually had absolutely no time for myself.
My hat is off to anyone who can handle something like this site successfully.

@eviloverlady I ended up shutting down my small VPS hosting business a few years ago; a victim of my own success. I didn't have money or time for more servers, but I wasn't making enough to quit my day job or to hire employees. The only choice was to give up!
@ScionAltera I was running an entertainment site.
I had access to all the servers and bandwidth I could possibly want/need, but when it got to the point that I had no personal life, I had to close it all down.
It was just fucking insanity.
And speaking of insanity, there will ALWAYS be the fucking assholes who seem to love to start trouble and then sit back and watch the shit fly back and forth whilst they giggle and sip their beverage of choice.
