Didn’t mean it as one. Just something my boss and I have been discussing lately. People at my company routinely get praised for “putting in the extra effort” working weekends or long hours and it’s largely ignored when your work goes smoothly and stays within the normal work time. I think that’s backwards. A team doing what they do so well that it’s boring and routine is heroic. An individual making a last minute diving save is just narrowly avoiding disaster.
