@th3j35t3r Big Tech Social Media is out of control. I’m not sure if this is the right fix but something is definitely needed. Cambridge Analytics combined with facebook in 2016 and before wasn’t as covered as it should have been here in the states. Did you see the documentary on Netflix called The Great Hack?
@mikeharmanos @th3j35t3r no but I will add it to my list. I did listen to broken code by Jeff Horowitz which I felt he was very kind towards facebook.
@mikeharmanos @th3j35t3r I have wondered if chatGPT used that data in training.
@SatuUnelmia @th3j35t3r Well, keep in mind the following:
Their database is likely this :
They took the original codebase from Alexander Kogan in 2013 and added 87 million Facebook users for the 2016 election.
They’ve now likely built that out to all Americans, first with all registered voters everywhere. That peaked in 2020 at 168 million. # of registered users went down to 161 million in 2022.
Combine that with all the data held by data brokers like Acxiom … 1/2
@SatuUnelmia @th3j35t3r … DataLogix, Experian, etc. that have hundreds of millions of users (or billions in Acxiom’s case), then they have most everyone available who can vote.
With a database that rich - hundreds of millions of people as rows, all sorts of attributes as columns - no doubt they’ve used AI to understand how to groom fellow :asshat: supporters, how to score and identify best people for radicalization, and how to get them organized and into their vicious cycle. 2/2
@mikeharmanos @th3j35t3r that is terrifying
@SatuUnelmia @th3j35t3r What, that the Mercer’s have it, or that it’s legal to collect all that data on so many people?
@SatuUnelmia @th3j35t3r Or have either of you read “Mindfuck” by Christopher Wylie?
The Mercers and Steve Bannon still have all that data. After all, no crime was committed
