I think the freedom from bots, ads, and data harvesting contribute to the sense of clarity that characterizes CoSo. The TLs are chronological and nothing is “featured” or “suggested.”
Add to that the general desire for something different and a commitment to try harder/do better here on behalf of most of the users.
Yes, we are human with different styles and perspectives, so the tools are at times necessary.
But I believe the overarching intentions are good and our humanity prevails
