Reading comments directed at Native Americans for having a “victim mentality”.

Uhm… no.

Violence continues against Native Americans to this day. Some of its just more subtle. Addressing it or genocide is not Victim mentality. When you have to explain to people what really happens/ed because it’s whitewashed, that’s called educating-not perpetuating a victim mentality.

Those people just want native Americans to be stoic about it. They don’t like it when reality doesn’t match their fantasy
