Visiting my sister who lives in Bellevue Washington and went full-metal-tourist with a visit to the Space Needle and the Chihuly glass garden. overall I don’t really care about famous buildings, but this one was really cool. Have you visited? #cosotravel
@Samanthabwriter I live in the area and work a few blocks from the museum, but I still haven’t visited. Should go soon. Funny Chihuly story: in the 90s someone I know figured out where his studio was. One late night we grabbed a couple of flashlights and grabbed a bunch of broken glass from art that didn’t go quite right from a dumpster out back.

@Samanthabwriter It’s on my list. I’ve been to the glass museum in Tacoma, and I highly recommend it. Also, one of the Hotels in Vegas (the Bellagio I think) has a big Chihuly installation in the lobby that I saw years ago.
@Hyporeality i’ll have to check out those other displays when life gives me a chance. My mom and I are both big fans of his work. If I was ever the kind of rich where I owned work by artists that people have heard of, I would buy Chihuly.
