I'm convention girl this weekend, selling my books at GalaxyCon in Raleigh, NC. It's one of those "bigbox" cons mostly about shopping for cool fandom things. I had a great first day, but boy-howdy am I tired now. I have a feeling it's going to take a lot of coffee to see me through the other three days. Do you attend these kinds of events (as a vendor or a fan)?

@Cosmichomicide covid definitely made a difference for these kinds of things. Some people never came back to doing it at all. Some businesses went under because they relied on these kinds of events to make their money. Some of the big box ones have gotten really super greedy, with how much they’re charging for tickets for the public and for getting a booth for vendors.
