Thinking about my great-gran today. Wondering what she would think of how my life has gone. medium.com/@mirymom1/a-woman-o

@Samanthabwriter I met my great-grandmother in 1964, shortly before she died, along with her eldest son and youngest daughter. It was a memorable thing. Her shack was far back in Shannon County, MO. She pointed out where she used to keep the still and we heard stories of her wild grandchildren, wrecking cars and getting in trouble with the law. “Careful on them steps or you’ll fall through.”

@Bald_Guy_With_Bike My great gran lived until I was 14 and I spent a fair amount of time with her. Love these stories about yours! I was always being warned away from the cistern.
