I got to go to The Carolina, tonight, a hundred-year-old theater in Durham, NC, USA. I'm a regular for their Retro film series. Tonight, it was another pirate movie in Movie Diva series: Frenchman's Creek 1944. Any other old movie buffs here?
@Samanthabwriter I used to watch them a lot with my dad. I miss doing that. I haven't seen Frenchman's Creek. Looks interesting.

@jds_again I quite liked it. 1940s movies are fascinating for their shifting views of roles of women. This woman-who-craves-adventure type of character was very popular, but she was usually disappointed, punished, or dead by the end of the movie.
