Two days after losing Brazil’s election, President Jair Bolsonaro agreed to a transition of power without directly conceding.

In a brief public address, Mr. Bolsonaro did not acknowledge his defeat. After Mr. Bolsonaro spoke, his chief of staff said the leader authorized the transition of power to move forward.
