@S_r_stone Nope, I’m reading Al Pacino’s book. I read for pleasure. The last thing I didn’t read for pleasure was most likely radiation physics and that’s where it ends.
@MidnightRider Learning history can be pleasurable and useful as well.
It covers all the ways the gains of the Civil War were eroded, particularly under Southern leadership. (Andrew Johnson, Woodrow Wilson). The Lost Cause Myth came to be accepted revised history. Eagerness to get southern states back in the fold turned a blind eye to Jim Crow laws.
