A friend of mine in the UK just said: "I know passions are strong at the moment, but this is exactly the attitude we were pointing at in Republicans before the election and decrying.

Most Republicans do not want anyone to suffer, they just don't believe that that will be the result of a Trump presidency.

As always, don't attribute to malice what is more likely to be stupidity, and never let yourself drop to anyone else's level."

My response to that: "Respectfully, I must disagree.

These people have had nine years to come to their senses and see this raging treasonweasel for what he is.

They continue to embrace him. They voted for this. And they're going to bring this country - and potentially quite a lot of other nations - down with them.

No. At this point they're no better than accessories to treason at the mildest and actively hate and want to see people like me and my loved ones dead.

No Nazis, Know Peace."

@Tarnagh Most Republicans don't want themselves to suffer, and don't care so much about others.

And with exceptions for ultra-rich and diehard white nationalists, most of them are wrong even about their own suffering but they aren't smart enough to connect the dots for themselves.

@Tarnagh Your friends point was valid maybe with Romney versus Obama. No so much today.
