Hubby and I were supposed to be in Ashville NC night of Hurricane to look at a SUV we wanted to buy there. Then we were going to visit my parents in E.TN. Two days before hurricane hit I decided as it grew stronger it was best we stay put as it might hit Atlanta area we were worried about home. So thankful I trusted my gut and we canceled trip. The car we were going to buy is gone destroyed for sure. The hotel is flooded we were going to stay, the roads we drove in on flooded out both ways. 👩‍🦰

ALWAYS trust your inner guidance. I’m so glad you are safe.

And caution to car-buying folks—never buy a car that’s been in a flood.

@LnzyHou @redsheri1 And don't think you are safe from that because it wasn't in your area.

People will buy up flooded cars cheap, then ship them elsewhere to sell at a markup. They fix them up enough to run.

@S_r_stone agreed this one we had our eye on fir few weeks they sell fast here in Atl high end SUV but with Hurricane think it slowed buying for a few days after and we jumped on it as they still had it. We got lucky. Moved fast and did inspection made the deal. We had already checked it out and test drove a week before, it just all fell into place was meant to be.
