Did a road trip with my best friend to southern Illinois to see the full eclipse. It was SO cool! I’m 77, I won’t get another chance at this so I’m glad I did it.

Then when we got back to her house I couldn’t find my keys. I looked in all my pockets, emptied my backpack, we looked and relooked through her car and her house. Texted my brother saying I might need a ride home and his key to my house. Took a final look in her garage and they were right outside the door. I’m home, I’m exhausted.

@cjcrew Need you a key tag...AirTag for Apple or Samsung Smart Tag. Both are better than others.

I got one for SWMBO and myself after a similar search. But I use it to find my phone more than the other way around. It at least lets us know when we are in range to zero in and ring it.

We use it 90% of the time in the house. (Know it is here somewhere.)

@S_r_stone I’ll have to check into that. Does it keep you from locking your keys in your car too? I’ve done that a couple times. The first time it cost me a $65 locksmith fee because Lansing and East Lansing police do not unlock cars anymore. The second time my small town’s police jimmied the lock and got them
For me, had to sign a waver first stating I wouldn’t sue them for any damages that might occur. It’s a 2001 PT Cruiser, I wouldn’t be able to tell if they damaged anything.

@cjcrew You can set a separation alarm with it. It won't keep you from losing both, but it will chirp if separated from your phone.
I set it but found my phone and keys are frequently separated at home. Chirping drove me nuts
