@Alfred Who is the most significant spreader of misinformation on Twitter?
@Alfred How is Bluesky different than Twitter? And is Jack Dorsey still associated?
"Texas" is about to export some of our worst policies and we are going to take you down with us."
Do you know why you won't find a 'DO NOT SELL MY INFORMATION' option anywhere here on COSO?
Because that's our default state. And you can't opt out of it.
On "can we be friends if you voted for Trump?"
Worth a listen.

@NorthernInvader I really want to collect receipts from Twitter halfway thru Trump's term. Never Trump Pubs were scolding Dems about overreaction predicting repeal of Roe v Wade. "Calm down, it's settled law. " pffft

CoSo,
As we watch the US get broken up and sold for parts--a victim of greed and ignorance--the rarity and value of this platform grows.
For seven years, @th3j35t3r has prioritized our safety and experience. He has never sold us out or worked an angle to profit from us.

Alabamafication of America.

Spoiler: Canada has its own problems incoming.
Against my advice (actually she didn't ask), my wife fired off a few messages or e-mails to her remaining Pub contacts asking why they voted for Trump.
The answers were predictably depressing. Most were just high prices and immigrant fear. At least she finally resolved to stop torturing herself maintaining contact with those people.
In hindsight, I think most voted primitively on "feelings" about the economy, mostly on inflation. Explanations fell flat for all but the economic savvy voters. So, I don't think messaging was going to change those voters anyway. And loss of progressives because of supporting Israel AT ALL (shortsighted given the harm they will cause to Palestine.) didn’t help.
Of course, Bernie had to jump on the "told us so" train too.
Do others agree? Did you see it coming?
