At the MLB trade deadline, it appears the Phillies GM Dave Dombrowski is going to pretty much sit pat, believing the current lineup can step up their game. Acquiring a late inning reliever from the Tigers for a mid-level minor league prospect is about as exciting as it's going to get today.

@JPSCHWEIZER63 The Phillies are 8 games above .500, and very much in the wild card hunt. Same place as they were last year with essentially the same team. Domo's only play - and I don't even see this one happening - is to move Nola for a prospect, bec Nola won't be a Phillie next year in any case.
