I was in a minor parking lot fender bender the other day. Not a whole lot of apparent damage. Scratched rear bumper, passenger side tail light cracked, and rear quarter panel pushed in just a bit. Got an estimate this morning: $5 - 7K. Talk about sticker shock. 😲
@SSNBubblehead Ouch. That sounds like the pricing they give to insurance companies... you might try to negotiate some if you're paying out of pocket.

@lenaoflune No negotiating. I have full coverage ins. Just my $500 deductible. My ins co can argue with the body shop.
