While I'm not an expert on aerodynamics there are scientists who are trying to raise awareness on ventilation and filtration. All this focus on plexiglass partition are interfering with that message. Air with possible virus aerosols is not stopped by a piece of plastic. It will and can just go around it based on the movement created by ventilation and objects in the room. What if the movement of the air in that room does this?...

@anondad Because there are false negatives and depending on the amount of virus in a person a test may not read it as positive when they are in the process.
