Saw a man complain elsewhere about all the "Mary Sues" nowadays.
Funny how men who complain about "mary sues" never realize that "Gary Stus" are everywhere. Luke Skywalker is a Gary Stu. So is King Arthur & Conan. Hell, I'm going out on a limb here and declare that *every* male superhero is the perfect Gary Stu.
To them, it's only "wrong" when it's female instead of male.
