My 40th High School reunion is coming up in October.
Each year there are fewer for many obvious reasons.
I've been involved in these now for 20 years. The lion's share of my fascist Facebook friends are in fact high school classmates that I only know through reunion activities
Still, it's great to see how these neighborhood kids have become old men and women.
Even as one of the smartest kids in the school, I was an outsider. This involvement is very rewarding. 1/2

"We thought you were gay," said the student body president at our 25th.
I didn't date anyone in our HS. I never explained why.
"It's because of "Kristi Farmer," Susan said at that table.
Oh, shit. She was right.
Just saying, in many ways the reunions are valuable.
