Today I got complimented by a coworker that has needed little from me.

"No, dude. You are. " He gets up out of his chair and comes over and gives me a first bump.

@KarenSohne I/we pitched it just now.
He asked for proof we already had and ready to show. He is on board but there's a cost to a small part of the plan.
We are now seeking an exception for ME to in the expenditure. It was a home run.
Earlier, today I had to fly to some "emergency" issue that was more public diplomacy than emergency, still... even that which started awful for turned into a home run.
Today has been fantastic! 😎
