What I like about the Netflix series Kaos is how "the gods" are really US, in all of our vainglorious and depraved ways.

When I was a Christian believer, I held that no human being should be elevated between man and god.

Which means celebrities, super heroes, institutional religions, etc.

I still hold that.

These awful gods make it feel clean to be free of them.
