Every few months, me and Queen Cavalier reward ourselves with a fine dining experience. Tonight it was a place called Geraldines. Pretty good rib eye steak and risotto with braised short ribs. The best part is always the cocktails and the dessert. We had expresso martinis, french martinis, and ended with a french style coffee service. We got all gussied up and I sported a bad-ass pair of Chucks.

They bill themselves as a "throwback to the nostalgic steakhouses & jazzy clubs of the 1940s-1960s." That remains to be seen - it sure was dark in there, I needed my phone light to read the menu. But the vibe was ok, pics of the rat pack on the walls and lounge-jazz playing.
