Thank you.
I haven't posted that we should drop Biden.
I HAVE posted Biden himself should end his candidacy and if his family really loves him, should push in that direction.
He should withdraw for his own good and that of the nation.
Those leaders who can see it and say it have a better vision of the future than the Biden apologists.
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN I'm not sure the same team that flubbed the debate, then flubbed the aftermath (I mean the Democrats in general, not just Biden and his team blaming his staff) is going to manage a "get behind our new person" campaign successfully and win, especially via a media industry run by conservative oligarchs.
I can't see a 3rd party or maverick overtaking Trump.
If Biden steps aside, I'll support Harris or whoever, but if he does so after saying he wouldn't it will be a disaster.
@SECRET_ASIAN_MAN I could think of ways to spin it that might actually help Democrats have chances to win, but I'm concerned the same team that's not really been stellar at PR so far is likely to succeed at such a maneuver.
I think what they should have done is pushed through and not blinked, and closed ranks. But that ship has sailed.
