From my experience on earth dealing with reports of missing anything on the heels of it being revealed that a Springfield resident reported her cat, Miss Sassy, missing & accused her Haitian neighbors only to find Miss Sassy hiding in the basement 2 days later.

No matter if it is a missing child, wallet, pet, vehicle or cell phone, if the owner finds the item, child, pet, <0% of the people who initially filed a report, will update the police that the item was found. 😭
