Some one (can't recall who) mentioned getting their passport. I don't have mine. No one ever said anything, when I was young, about obtaining a passport and I don't personally know anyone that I went to school with, even has theirs. Is getting ones passport a necessary item? As much as I'd like to travel to S Korea, I know that's never gonna happen.

@Kittiekatt53 Starting small. Is day tripping Niagara Fall to the Canada side something you would do, how about island hopping cruise, or visiting Mexico via public transportation from San Diego? How about a cruise to Bermuda preferably not while getting wiped out by a hurricane? All of those just need a US Pass card good for 10 years gets you on domestic flights, doesn't have your printed address on it. Now if you're going thru the paperwork for that might as well pay a little more for passport

@Ruthat Never a cruise. Hear too much about illnesses in those floating sardine cans. Mexico isn't my kind of foreign interest. Thanks for the suggestions. My only wish is to go to S Korea and I've already said, that's not gonna happen, either.
