A former volunteer from 10 years ago wants to come back & volunteer in my dept. She's applying for a certain position, needs a reference. She stopped in a couple months ago, has moved back after living in FL. Full of claims of Communists infiltrating academia. Dropped an anti-gay remark.
How should I respond to her, and to the org she gave my name to, asking for a reference?
