@RJMay3 Waves!!!! My mom lived in Cold Spring for 25 years. Went up there all the time.

@Romquest lived at and worked on Rt 9, across the road from Sleepy Hollow Country Club. My father rented a loft over there, I want to say in Cold Spring.

@RJMay3 yeah she had a gorgeous house with 5 acres set against the mountain, bought it early enough it was a steal compared to the many millions it must be worth now. Great little town, great walking nearby. Not depressed as much of Duchess is. You had a very nice spot, across from the club. Very cool.

@Romquest I'm all ass backwards. I thought Cold Spring was by 100 and 133. Looked it up in Google Maps, and that puts it by Garrison, off 9d. Strangely, the Ex and I lived east of there in Putnam Valley, with Oscawanna Lake in the backyard. Now I'm baffled where his loft was. I know it existed...friends and I helped him get the waterbed mattress up to the second floor by way of a balcony door in front.
I had Fahnstock State Park across the lake ànd was a quarter mile from the Appalachian Trail.

@RJMay3 Maybe closer to Fishkill? or up in Beacon? Lofts are in Beacon...if memory serves

@Romquest he worked in Valhalla, by Kensico Dam. He ended up moving to Valhalla, like 2 blocks from work.
This was some ladies converted garage.
Both my brother and father have passed. The only one left is Mom, and it may be too touchy to ask her Dad's address. My stroke has taken me out of the memory game here so what's left is sketchy at best. Later.

@RJMay3 Well, that sux. Sorry about that and hope your holiday is relaxing.
