apologies... i was scanning through political rhetoric from the texas midterms. every lying, cheating, dark money profiteer was re-elected. yes, "hate speech" is abusive, threatening speech/comms re a certain group/institution.

however, people hearing blatant lies from a candidate, disbelieving truth from the opposing candidate is another aspect.

i should have provided context.

@QueenOfEverything oh ok. It looked like it was questioning the validity of the concept of hate speech. TERFs are famous for using that kind of speak.

There's no way to confuse the Republican concept of rights in Texas. There are four classes:

1. Men

2. GUNS*

3. women (*guns have
rights, vaginas don't)

4. everyone else who's not a
white republican male.
